BounceBrake and your verifier
aren’t rivals
ZeroBounce, NeverBounce, MillionVerifier, Bouncer and the verification built into Apollo, ZoomInfo or Clay are fast and cheap, and they’re right for most of a list. They just can’t settle catch-all domains. That’s the part BounceBrake is for.
| Standard verifiers | BounceBrake | |
|---|---|---|
| Built for | Checking whole lists quickly | The catch-all and unknown addresses verifiers can’t settle |
| Catch-all domains | Returns catch-all, accept-all, risky or unknown | Returns safe to send or would bounce |
| Speed | Seconds to minutes | Most lists finish within 24–48 hours |
| Best used for | The whole list, first | Only the addresses the first pass couldn’t settle |
| Cost per address | Usually lower | 1 credit: 2 to 4 cents, depending on plan or pack |
The cheapest way to use both
- 1
Run the full list through the verifier you already pay for.
- 2
Keep its valid addresses and drop its invalid ones.
- 3
Upload only the catch-all, accept-all, risky or unknown rows to BounceBrake.
- 4
Merge BounceBrake’s valid addresses back in and send.
What about data providers?
Apollo, ZoomInfo, Cognism and similar tools often mark addresses as risky or give them a low confidence score. Those are usually the same catch-all addresses. Export them and check them here before you decide to drop or send.
